The EKPF Annual Summit 2026 will take place in Krakow, Poland, on October 7, followed by the EKPF General Assembly on October 8, 2026. The meeting will bring together patient organisations, representatives, and stakeholders from across Europe to exchange experiences, share best practices, discuss key challenges in kidney health, and strengthen collaboration within the European kidney patient community.
FEDERG will attend and actively participate in the Summit, representing the voice and perspectives of people and families living with rare and genetic kidney diseases. Our participation will provide an important opportunity to raise awareness of the specific challenges faced by these communities, including the need for timely diagnosis, access to appropriate care and treatments, coordinated healthcare pathways, and greater recognition of the patient and family perspective.
The Summit will also be an opportunity for FEDERG to connect with other European kidney patient organisations, exchange experiences, identify common priorities, and explore opportunities for joint initiatives and collaboration. By bringing the voice of people affected by rare and genetic kidney diseases to the European kidney community, FEDERG aims to contribute to a more inclusive and patient-centred approach to kidney health.
We look forward to meeting colleagues and partners in Krakow, sharing our experiences, and continuing to strengthen the European patient voice in kidney health.
