European Kidney Forum 2026 – Kidney Health Disparities, Adressing the Gender Gap
13 October @ 10:00 – 11:30 CEST

The European Kidney Forum 2026 will focus on kidney health disparities and the gender gap in kidney disease, bringing together European policymakers, healthcare professionals, researchers, and patient representatives to address inequalities in prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and access to care.
FEDER will participate in the panel discussion, advocating for greater recognition of the multiple roles of women in kidney disease—as patients, caregivers, and patient representatives and advocates. FEDER will highlight the challenges and needs faced by women across these different roles and call for a more gender-sensitive, equitable, and patient-centred approach to kidney health policies and care.
