FEDERG in AIRG-France Members Day

AIRG France Day 2024 took place : at the Faculty of Medical Science Aix- Marseille University, La Timone. Pr Jérôme Harambat president Scientific Board, Ms Sandra Lawton AIRG-France president, Pr Philippe Brunet, AP-HM Hòpital de la Conception, Marseille.

When: on Saturday 12 October and focused on women with kidney disease.

It was very informative for everyone to learn from doctors such as Dr Vigneau from CHU de Rennes, Emilie Cornec le Gall from CHU Brest and Sébastien Rubin from CHU Bordeaux about pregnancy, the specificities of PKD and the particularities of hypertension in women.

Gynecologists such as Dr Florence Bretelle and psychologists such as Aurélie Untas were invited to host a round table and offer a multidisciplinary view of the care of women with kidney disease. Patients with IgA and Shua were also discussed. I think the choice of topics was varied and interesting. As a representative of federg  and spokesperson de l’AIRG España I had the opportunity to present some slides and talk about FEDERG at the end of the event and to meet with the members of AIRG France. It was very interesting to connect with the Biomedicine Agency with Professor Michel Tsimaratos about transplants in France and donors. He placed great emphasis on the importance of promoting organ donation and raising awareness among the population. It was even more gratifying to reaffirm our relationships with AIRG France, its president Ms Sandra Lawton, its secretary Ms Veronique Neveu and Pr Dr Jérôme Harambat.
